Judith A. Gallagher - Class of 2005
Judith A. Gallagher played on the softball team from 1992-1994 at Bridgewater State. As a senior, Judy captained
the team and led the Bears to a second place finish at the NCAA Division III National Championships as the team's top
pitcher. The 1994 softball season was the best ever finish in NCAA play by any Bridgewater team. As a senior, Judy
was a First Team National Softball Coaches Association Northeast Regional All-American, a First Team New England
Intercollegiate Softball Coaches Association (NEISCA) All Star, a First Team All-MASCAC selection and a member of the
NCAA Championship All-Tournament Team. For her career, Judy ranks second all-time at BSC in winning percentage
(.804), and earned run average (1.22). Judy, who earned her undergraduate degree in Elementary Education from BSC in
1994, as well as her Master's degree in 1998, is currently employed as a kindergarten teacher at the Dighton
Elementary School. She currently resides in Taunton, Massachusetts.
