This seminar was held at the BSU Aviation Training Center located at the New Bedford Regional Airport. The Turbojet Systems Seminar was developed as an introduction to advanced aircraft systems for those pilots actively preparing for an airline career.
As manufacturers introduce new aircraft types, the specifics of on-board systems may change, but their concept of operation remains largely the same. This seminar uses the Bombardier CRJ700 as a basis for discussion of advanced aircraft systems

| The Turbojet Systems Seminar will expose you to the kind of relevant systems information you can expect to see in an airline ground school. The material is presented from a "panel out" perspective meaning discussions are centered around cockpit control and indication; those things that pilots can see and have some effect on. Systems schematics are used when and as needed to lend overall perspective. The Seminar is most often offered at post-secondary educational institutions such as universities and community colleges which offer professional pilot programs. Students at all levels are encouraged and welcome to attend with an emphasis on those who are preparing to submit resumes and applications to airlines. |
