Bridgewater State University is located in southeastern Massachusetts, 28 miles south of Boston and 45 minutes from Providence, R.I. and Cape Cod. The southeastern Massachusetts location is served by many major highways and public transportation.

The campus is located off Route 24 (Exit 15), near the I-495 intersection. Also accessible by Routes 95, Route 90, Route 18, Route 104 and Route 106.

Accessible by Public Transportation

Features an on-campus stop on the MBTA Old Colony Commuter Rail Line (Middleborough/Lakeville Route) This route provides direct access to Brockton, Braintree, Quincy and Boston. Bridgewater is the only public college in the state to have an MBTA station on campus.
