Education Career Fair
March 20, 2013

Panel Discussion:  4 - 5:15 PM | RCC Auditorium

Networking Fair:  5:30 - 7:00 PM | RCC Ballroom

The Bridgewater State University Education Career Fair provides teacher candidates with the opportunity to learn from a panel of education experts and network with Massachusetts school districts in advance of the typical hiring cycle.

Teacher Candidates:

The Education Career Fair is open to all BSU students, alumni and the general public.  To make the most of the Education Career Fair, Career Services recommends that you research participating schools in advance, practice your networking pitch, dress in a professional suit, and bring copies of your most updated and critiqued resume.  To pre-register for the event click here.

Faculty:

BSU Faculty members are welcome to bring classes to the panel and networking fair.  Please encourage your students and advisees to attend this important career event.

Schools and Organizations:

The Education Career Fair is open to educational organizations including public school districts, charter schools, private/independent schools and non-profits.  Schools and organizations selected to participate will be notified via email once final decisions are made.  Please review the Career Services Recruitment Policies and Procedures prior to registration.  We do not allow third party recruiters to participate in this event.

Employer Registration:

Employer registration will open starting January 2013 using our online system:  CareerLink@BSU.  CareerLink@BSU allows you to register for events, post jobs, request resume referrals and set up on-campus interviews.  We encourage employers to make an account for their school district now so they will have access to registration for the Education Career Fair in January.  For instructions on making an account, click here.

Career Fair Preparation:

"As an employer, I go to many career fairs, and at Bridgewater State University, both the district turnout and the student turnout continues to be strong, which is a testament to the quality and success of the fair each year."
