How Can Students Participate?

Students in all majors are encouraged to take advantage of the alumni career advisory network.  Gain valuable knowledge and learn more about a field from a recent graduate or a more experienced alumni.  You can access the alumni career advisory network at home or from your residence hall.  Remember... BSC alumni are a great resource. These alumni have volunteered to provide career information only. You can ask them any career-related question except, "Can I have a job?"

Students can access the database by registering with BSC Career Link.  Once registered click on "Mentor Search".

Students can receive advice by phone, email or in person. You may want to explore:

• Skills and training desired by employers
• Trends and the job market outlook
• Networking
• Career paths & upward mobility
• Importance of Internships
• Informational Interviews
• Tips for the Job Search
