The CareerSmart Program

The CareerSmart Program provides information, programs and individualized support to help first year students choose a major, explore careers and build the knowledge and skills essential to enter the world of work.

Resources for First Year Students

There are a number of resources available at Bridgewater State University that will provide opportunities to learn about careers and build experiences outside the classroom.

The CareerSmart Appointment

First year students can schedule a CareerSmart appointment.  A student attending this one hour session with a career counselor will receive an overview of Career Services resources; explore internships, majors and/or careers; and learn about the vast range of experiential opportunities available to him or her.

To schedule a CareerSmart appointment, call 508-531-1328 or stop by Career Services, Room 8 in the Campus Center.
