  • The College Board: The ExPAN College Search service allows you to search a database of more than 3,500 U.S. colleges and universities for bachelor's, master's and Ph.D. programs. The information includes admissions profiles, college catalogs request option, and electronic applications.

  • Grad School Profiles:  This website features in-depth graduate and professional school profiles with information about programs of study, degree requirements, facilities, expenses, financial aid, faculty research and much more.
  • Universities.com: Search of 7,500 colleges and universities by state or program of study.
  • Gradschools.com: Contains good search features to find post-baccalaureate educational programs.
  • Law School Admission Council Online: Extensive information on the process of applying to law schools. Includes online registration for the LSAT, list of events where you may meet representatives from law schools, and links to WWW sites at LSAC-member law schools.
  • Peterson's Education Center: Comprehensive guide to colleges and universities, studying abroad, graduate study, summer programs, continuing education, testing and assessment, and much more.
  • U.S. News College Guide: A wonderful resource for prospective college and graduate students. Resources include school rankings, "best education buys" list, career tips and financial aid information.
  • Directory of Graduate Programs:   Directory of Graduate Preparation Programs in college student personnel.

  • U.S. News College Rankings: An interactive online ranking system for U.S. undergraduate colleges. Searches may be done by selected criteria including national universities, liberal arts colleges, state-by-state rankings, and more.

Test Prep Sites

  • Kaplan: Provides admissions test information for college, graduate school (GRE), business school (GMAT), law school (LSAT), medical school (MCAT), and nursing (NCLEX). Other interesting topics include financial aid, test prep and, of course, information on Kaplan courses.
  • The Princeton Review: Contains excellent information such as testing, admissions and financial aid for colleges, business schools, law schools, medical schools, and graduate schools. You may also do searches for schools of interest.
