Career Opportunities

MEDITECH is seeking energetic, motivated professionals to facilitate in the training, installation and on-going support of our Health Care Information System. Positions currently being recruited for are the following:

Applications Specialist - Implementation

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Traveling on-site 60-70% to train a core group of end-users
  • Coordinating and conducting new customer training
  • Providing supplemental instruction to customers over the phone and through letters, fax and e-mail

Applications Specialist - Client Services

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Troubleshooting, researching and resolving customer issues
  • Answering queries from customers
  • Processing requests for enhancements and system modifications

Programmer Analyst

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Support product installations Coordinate and deliver current releases to customers
  • Programming in a Windows ® environment, utilizing Client/Server architecture
  • Exposure to MEDITECH's own programming languages, network protocols, operating systems and database systems, written in MAGIC, a descendant of MUMPS technology

    • Development Specialist (Spanish Applications) Responsibilities

    Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

    • Analyze the specific needs of the Spanish-speaking market, and produce appropriate specifications for development programmers.
    • Potential travel to customer sites for analysis, development, and the support of other divisions in their implementation efforts.
    • Understand the functionality of our US-based systems, and determine what changes and new features are required to meet the needs of the Spanish-speaking market.
    • Translate our HCIS product (screens, programs, messages, etc) into Spanish Test application software.
    • Work with the customers on site to implement the software and train users
