Your first year at BSU is a great time to make an appointment with Career Services! Our career counselors can help steer you in the right direction, whether you need to choose a major, explore careers or learn about internships. Beyond the Classroom Experiences Across Campus

There are many opportunities available at BSU that will help you explore careers, build job skills and add experience to your resume.

Community Service - Explore careers by volunteering on and off campus.
Student Organizations and Leadership - Build skills by participating in clubs and organizations.
Job Shadow Program during Winter Break - Shadow a professional for one day during winter break.
Work Study or Other On- and Off-Campus Jobs - Gain office experience on campus.
Study Abroad - Enhance your resume through global experience.
Undergraduate Research - Receive a grant to conduct research or develop a creative project.
Internships - Participate in both for-credit and non-credit internships.
The Washington Center - Spend a semester in Washington, D.C.
