Transferring into an undergraduate evening degree program is a straight-forward process. Fill out an evening degree application and supply your college transcripts. The Admissions Office will review evening degree applications on an ongoing basis.
We are happy to answer your questions about transferring. Just give us a call at 508-531-2788 or send us at email at continuinged@bridgew.edu.
Who qualifies as a transfer student:
If you have earned at least 12 credits at an accredited college or university, you are eligible to apply as a transfer student. If you have earned at least 24 credits, you must possess at least a 2.0 Grade Point Average (GPA). If you have earned between 12 and 23 credits, your GPA must be 2.5 or higher.
Old credits never die:
College credits do not expire as long as you have earned the credits at an accredited institution. In most cases, BSU will accept up to 69 credits from a two-year college and up to 90 credits from a four-year institution.
Day degree programs:
If the program you are interested in is not offered as an evening degree program, you can still take courses in the evening toward your degree. Eventually, you will have to complete the program through day courses. Visit the Admissions Office Web site, to apply online or download the day student application.
Great resources from our Transfer Office:
BSU has a very helpful Transfer Office and a Transfer Web site loaded with information about the transfer process and resources. Check out the helpful links below:
