Undergraduate certificate programs benefit students in a number of ways. They help prepare individuals for entry-level positions and provide formal academic training in a speciailzed field through credit coursework delivered by Bridgewater State University faculty. Students earn college credits while constructing a knowledge-base that, in many cases, acts as the foundation upon which to build their career. Credits earned in certificate programs are transferable to BSU undergraduate degree programs. BSU offers certificates in accounting, finance, forensic behavior, management, marketing management, and operations management.

Finance Certificate
The undergraduate certificate in finance is designed to prepare students for entry-level positions in the finance field and to enhance the practical skills for individuals currently employed in a finance related position. The academic credits earned through the successful completion of these courses may be applied toward a bachelor's degree in Accounting and Finance with a concentration in Finance. Forensic Behavior Certificate
The undergraduate certificate in Forensic Behavior is designed for individuals working in human services, criminal justice, or psychology, who desire to achieve a credential demonstrating a level of knowledge about antisocial, aggressive, criminal and violent criminal behavior. For this certificate, students complete four courses. All courses necessary for the certificate are offered online through Bridgewater State University and other participating colleges in Massachusetts Colleges Online. Management Certificate
The undergraduate certificate in management is designed to prepare students for entry-level positions in the management field and to enhance practical skills for individuals currently employed in management related positions. The program of study provides a strong basis in the areas of accounting, management, marketing and information technology.
