"The 2013 CES Business Plan Competition was an excellent event with many wonderful business ideas. I learned a great deal from the workshops and judges that will be valuable to me in any career path I take. All contestants put a tremendous amount of work into their business plans and gained helpful experience along the way. I highly recommend other students who may consider starting their own business to participate in this beneficial event that BSU has to offer.  I’d like to thank CES at Bridgewater State University, the sponsors, the judges, my professors who have helped me, and my friends and family for their support throughout this competition."  First place winner, 2013,  Jake Wilde.

"As a recent graduate of Bridgewater State University I had to write and thank you for the invaluable experience I gained from participating in the business plan contest held by the Center for Entrepreneurship Studies.  Not only did it allow me to utilize what I was learning in the classroom, it pushed me beyond the traditional classroom experience and gave me insight into areas I wouldn't have otherwise been exposed to. The Center for Entrepreneurial Studies contains a wealth of knowledge and resources for students at BSU.  I had access to seminars and professional guidance that people in the business world pay hundreds of dollars to utilize.  This program for students is a once in a lifetime opportunity" - Donna Marchand, BSU alumna and 2nd Place winner of the BSU Business Plan Contest in 2011.

"Business has always been something that fascinated me, and it has been a dream of mine to develop my own business since I was very young. When I came to BSU I was fortunate enough to find out they had this competition and the Center for Entrepreneurship Studies. I was able to use that invaluable learning experience, coupled with the assistance of the CES, to help me develop a business plan that I knew could succeed." Craig Rondeau, BSU Alumnus and 1st Place winner of the BSU Business Plan Contest in 2012.
