Research fellows are critical partners of the Global Civic Education and
Leadership Program, an initiative of the Bridgewater State University Center for
Legislative Studies. The objective of this initiative is to increase project
impact by coordinating civic education development opportunities within and
outside of the BSU college community. The goal of the program is to approach
civic education and leadership through a wide lens, using the concept to tie
together research, community service, service learning, curriculum development,
and grant development.
Research fellows extend and deepen the ties that the Center for Legislative
Studies has to the community of scholars and professionals who study legislative
politics and civic leadership. They guide curricular, research, service,
networking, resource and grant building, and publication projects to improve
civic leadership outcomes tied to the Global Civic Education Leadership Program.
