Pathways To Educator Licensure at BSU
Spring 2012 Dates:
January 24, March 13, and May 8
All Pathways to Educator Licensure at BSU take place on Tuesdays in the
Heritage Room in the Maxwell Library, from 5:30 p.m. - 7:00 p.m. The Pathways
sessions give graduate students a chance to meet with College of Graduate
Studies Admissions staff. Mary Ann McKinnon, Assistant Dean of the College of
Education and Allied Studies will also be available to answer questions
regarding

Administration (MBA) Information Sessions
Spring 2012 Dates:
February 24 and April 5
Learn more about this exciting new graduate program by attending one of the
upcoming MBA information sessions. Meet faculty, learn about the
innovative curriculum and receive information about the application process.
Both sessions will take place in the Maxwell Library from 6:30 p.m. - 7:30 p.m. RSVP

Certificate in Advanced Graduate Studies (CAGS) Reading Information Session
Spring 2012 Dates:
April 19
The CAGS in Reading program is designed for educators holding a master's
degree who are interested in expanding their knowledge in specialized areas of
reading and literacy. The 33-credit program complements the credentials of
classroom teachers, special educators, speech and language pathologists,
administrators, psychologists and private tutors. Graduates are prepared for
roles as reading and literacy supervisors, curriculum specialists, resource
personnel, program administrators and program consultants. The Certificate
of Advanced Graduate Study in Reading program offers institutional endorsement
for Massachusetts licensure as Teacher of Reading and meets NCATE accreditation.
Meet faculty, learn about the
innovative curriculum, and receive information about the application process to
the CAGS Reading program.

Sessions
Spring 2012 Dates: March 21 and March 28
Information Sessions give prospective students an opportunity to meet with the
College of Graduate Studies Admissions staff to learn more about the many
opportunities and graduate programs that Bridgewater State University offers.
Upcoming information sessions will be held on Wednesday, March 21, 2012 and
Wednesday, March 28, 2012 at 5:30 p.m. in the Moakley Center Auditorium.
The March 21st session will focus on the following programs: Athletic Training, Computer Science, Criminal Justice, English, Master of Business Administration (MBA), Master of Science in Accountancy (MSA), Psychology, Public Administration, and Social Work.
The March 28th session will focus on the following programs: Accelerated Post Baccalaureate, Counselor Education, Early Childhood Education, Elementary Education, Educational Leadership, Health Education and Physical Education, Instructional Technology, Math, Reading, and Special Education.
School Counseling (Master's and
Post-Master's) Information Sessions
Spring 2012 Dates: January 27, February 15, March 20 & April 27
These information sessions are geared towards those interested in learning more
about the training to become a professional school guidance counselor in the
K-12 schools or about continuing your education as a professional school
counselor. All sessions will be held in the Kelly Gymnasium Conference

All sessions are from 6:00 pm - 7:30 pm. Faculty and Staff will be available at the Information Sessions to answer specific questions you may have. All Information Sessions are open to the public. You do not need to RSVP in advance.
