Graduate Admissions
Bridgewater State University offers 35
graduate degree programs
and licensure in 32 areas. Our academic programs can be completed on a full or
part-time basis. We also offer courses at
off-campus locations and online.
Many of our graduate programs allow students to enroll in up to two courses prior to being accepted into a program. To take advantage of this opportunity, please contact the appropriate graduate faculty program coordinator to learn which courses are most appropriate to enroll in as a non-matriculated student.
As you prepare to apply to a graduate program, please be aware that there are
two options for submitting an application. Be sure to review the
application checklist before starting your application as many programs have
special requirements in addition to the application.
Option 1: Apply Online
Begin
your application online today! While the application for admission can
be submitted electronically, it will be necessary to submit several other
documents in a hard copy format including academic transcripts, letters of
recommendation, personal statements, and other supporting credentials. View the
additional
requirements page for a comprehensive list.

Please review the checklist and the corresponding instructions before
starting your application.
*Low grade point average (GPA) remedies are available for students applying to Accelerated Postbaccalaureate programs, Special Education initial licensure programs, and all other initial licensure programs. Low GPA remedies assist students who do not meet the required admissions standard of a cumulative undergraduate GPA of 2.8. Please note that the required GPA is non-negotiable and one of several admissions standards that must be satisfied in order for an applicant to be considered eligible for review.
Applicants who have questions regarding graduate application
procedures and deadlines should contact an admissions representative in the
College of Graduate Studies at 508.531.1300 or
