
Bridgewater State University and the Cape Cod Center for Graduate Education are proud to offer degree programs in Special Education (Moderate and Severe Disabilities) beginning this Spring in Osterville.
The Special Education department at Bridgewater State University offers programs designed to meet the needs of graduate students who are interested in obtaining Massachusetts initial licensure as a Teacher of Students with Moderate Disabilities (PreK-8) or (5-12) or as a Teacher of Students with Severe Disabilities (all levels).
These programs are designed to meet all Massachusetts Department of Early and Secondary Education licensure requirements and standards established by the Council for Exceptional Children.
Course Sequence
SPED 508:
Strategies For Diversity (Spring 2012)
This course will provide students with a forum for the study,
discussion, and practical inclusion of multicultural principles and
strategies into the curriculum. It will investigate the many levels of
culture defined within the macro-culture of U.S. society. Students
will gain knowledge and information of effective methods, resources, and
materials in order to develop and adapt techniques and strategies to
implement in the contemporary multicultural classroom.
