Q: Who presents at the GRS?

A: All graduate students who are matriculated into a program are eligible to present. Additionally, Graduate Research Assistants and Graduate Assistants are required to present.

 

Q: What are the different presentation formats at the GRS?

A: There are two formats: oral presentation or poster session. Students may present their papers with an oral presentation. Oral presentations should be from 15 to 20 minutes in length, followed by time for discussion. Additionally, students may create a poster and participate in a poster session that will be devoted to a more casual "walk-around" presentation style.

 

Q: What kinds of research can be presented at the GRS?

A: Types of research may include scientific research, humanities research, secondary research, or artistic research.

 

Q: Who can attend the GRS?

A: The GRS is open to the BSU community. Family members, faculty, staff and other students are welcome to attend.
