Monthly Service Opportunties

"Delivering Hope" at My Brother's Keeper in Easton, MA

Volunteers assist this faith-based organization with the delivery of furniture and food to needy families in the Brockton area. In conjunction with the Catholic Center on campus, transportation will be provided to the warehouse facility in Easton where the delivery vans are loaded and then deliveries are made to the homes of these very grateful families. Volunteers meet at the Community Service Center on select Tuesdays and Wednesdays at 1:45pm to board the van and return to campus by 5:30pm.  The dates for 2011-2012 are as follows:

"Nobody should be homeless" at Father Bill's and Mainspring in Brockton, MA

In conjunction with the Catholic Center on campus, volunteers serve a meal to the guests at Father Bill's and Mainspring in Brockton. They will help load the food, provided by Sodexo, into the van, and will travel to Brockton to serve the homeless and poor. Transportation is provided. Volunteers leave from the Community Service Center on select Thursdays at 3:15pm and return to campus by 6pm.  The dates for 2011-2012 are as follows:

"Dining with Dignity" at The Table in Brockton, MA

The Table, located at Father Bill's and Mainspring in Brockton, serves lunch six days a week to hundreds of community members in the greater Brockton area. The focus of this program is serving those in need with dignity and respect. Volunteers will help load the food, provided by Sodexo, into the van, and will travel to Brockton to serve lunch to those in need of a good, hot meal. Transportation is provided. Volunteers leave from the Community Service Center at 10:30am and return to campus by 2:30pm. The dates for 2011-2012 are as follows:
