The American Cancer Society's mission is to make progress in saving lives by helping people get well and stay well. Ever step walkers make and every donation helps to find a cure and fight back against breast cancer. Transportation and lunch are provided.
Students who will be traveling on Alternative Break Trips throughout the year will volunteer at the Turkey Trot. In conjunction with Athletics money will be raised to support the Family Life Center.
Take part in a great cause and join the 2013 6th Annual American Cancer Society's Relay for Life at Bridgewater State University. Last year over 600 people participated in this event and it raised $50,000. At this overnight event teams will raise money by keeping at least one member moving around a track at all times. Many teams come together and camp out at the Tinsley Center, and enjoy the festive atmosphere created by music, food, games and the camaraderie shared with others. This event starts on Friday at 6:00pm and goes until Saturday at 6:00am.
