Daniel Fitch is currently a sophomore majoring in Computer Science and Mathematics and is enjoying every moment of it. He is originally from Brockton where he graduated from Brockton High class of 2004. Dan is a member of MVP because of the values and motives of the club. Violence can only be prevented with education and that is what this club attempts to provide to the Bridgewater community.
Francis Freel is a sophomore resident student who is also a member of
the swim team. Frank joined MVP because "Last year as a Freshman I
heard nothing but great things about the program. That sort of feedback
really motivated me to want to join. Helping people is something I love to
do and a program like MVP gives me opportunities to help others in ways I could
not do on my own."
Kimberly LaBranche is a sophomore resident student who joined MVP
because she "heard about how much of a great, helpful program it is."
Juliana Margarida is a junior majoring in Political Science with a concentration in International Relations. In addition to being an MVP member, Juliana is also Vice President of SGA and a member of its various committees, a resident assistant in Woodward Hall and a Conduct Board member. Megan Smith is from West Boylston, Ma (near Worcester). She is in her
second year and is majoring in math. Megan was first introduced to MVP
through her roommate, who suggested that she attend a meeting. Since
becoming involved in MVP, Megan has grown aware of the amount of violence that
is perpetrated and has developed an understanding of ways that she can help
others. In addition to MVP, Megan is actively involved in intramural
sports such as softball and volleyball. She also tutors other students in
precalculus.
