Welcome to the Center of the Advancement of Research and Scholarship (CARS). The mission of CARS, organized and led by faculty, librarians, and staff, is to foster the development of research, scholarship, and creative endeavors for faculty and librarians. CARS promotes individual, collaborative, and interdisciplinary scholarship activities, and provides resources for the creation of knowledge that reflects and supports the strategic goals of the institution, when appropriate. Under our new name, we are looking forward to working with our faculty and librarians to further their research and scholarship and collaborating with other campus professional development initiatives, such as the Office of Teaching and Learning. Please explore our web page, where you will find a host of resources to support your research, scholarship and creative endeavors. Also, get to know our new research fellows, Lydia Burak and Ellen Ingmanson, who bring broad and varied expertise to their new roles as research facilitators and mentors. As always, please contact Karen Fein or Pam Russell with any questions you may have about CARS offerings. We encourage you to get involved.
