The Office of Assessment
The Office of Assessment supports continuous improvement of programs and
services of the University, including studies related to
supporting the development of student learning outcomes and assessment at the academic program level
regional and national accreditation
Bridgewater State University program reviews
assessment of outcomes from major areas of institutional activity such as the Core Curriculum
The Office of Assessment develops and conducts surveys or focus groups of
students, faculty, staff, alumni, employers, and community members when those
studies address division-level or University-level concerns.
The Office
of Assessment
coordinates regular major surveys,
such as the Cooperative Institutional Research Program (CIRP)
Survey and the National Survey of Student Engagement (NSSE), and the analysis
and dissemination of the results of those surveys.
