Welcome to Distance Learning. This site provides information on distance learning at Bridgewater State College, describes what distance learning is, and features the distance learning courses that will be offered this academic year.

Distance learning is instructional delivery that does not constrain the student to be physically present in the same location as the instructor. Using the Internet and videoconferencing technology, distance learning courses offer a flexible, convenient option to motivated learners seeking an alternative to the traditional classroom experience.
