Abstract Submission and Registration Form (for all presenters, mentors, and attendees)
Please note: We are a "paper-free" Symposium. The program (with abstracts) will be available as an electronic PDF file linked to the Symposium home page.
The form below is for electronic submission of the abstract and symposium registration for all presenters, mentors, and attendees. Fill out the appropriate fields below, then click the "submit" button at the bottom of this page. Your form will be sent electronically to the symposium coordinators. Abstracts must be received no later than Wednesday, November 4. Questions regarding submission of abstracts may be directed to Dr. Ed Brush (ebrush@bridgew.edu). Space may be limited and abstracts will be accepted on a first-come-first-serve basis.
Symposium registration will open at 8:00 AM, followed by Opening Remarks and Guest Speaker at 9:00 AM. Posters will be displayed in two sessions between 10:30-12:00 and 1:00-2:30. Although every effort will be made to group student posters from the same institution in the same session, all presenters are expected to be present and participate in both poster sessions. After November 6th, you will be contacted with specific details regarding your presentation. You will be supplied with a 4'x5' free-standing poster board, tacks, and 1'x5' of table space. Coffee and snacks will be available during registration, and lunch will be provided. To help defray costs, a registration fee of $15 will be collected on-site (cash or checks only please).

This is recommended if your abstract has special characters, subscripts or superscripts. Your abstract will be published in an abstract book as received so carefully proof-read your submission! Please read the email submission instructions in the text box below. If applicable, please include the source of funding for your research as the last sentence of your abstract. ************** If you are submitting your abstract electronically, delete the text in this box and enter your abstract. If submitting your abstract by email attachment: (1) Complete this electronic form, but delete the text in this box and type "SEE EMAIL". (2) Prepare your abstract as an MS WORD document in the following format: (a) MS Word, Times New Roman font, 12 point, single space, one inch margins. (b) Include your title, names of all authors, affiliation and address. (c) Type and proof-read your abstract! (d) Send your abstract by email attachment to Dr. Ed Brush at: ebrush@bridgew.edu.
Before clicking the "Submit" button. Print a copy of your complete form and review for accuracy. You may now click the Submit button and your form will be electronically sent to the Symposium Coordinators. You and your mentor will each receive email verification within 48 hours indicating receipt of your form, and contacted after November 6th with specific details regarding your presentation. Please remember that you are asked to remain at the Symposium for both poster sessions as a courtesy to all poster presenters.
