Technology Training

The Office of Professional Development offers a variety of training services for professionals, staff, and volunteers in the nonprofit and local government fields. These training services consist of technology trainings, such as Microsoft Word, Access, Excel, Publisher, and FrontPage (introduction, and intermediate, and "tips & tricks") courses.

Computer Based Training

Professional Development's technology training courses are taught in a relaxed, informal, fun environment which pay special attention to the specific needs of the professionals attending each training. Trainings are conducted in the John Joseph Moakley Center, a state-of-the-art Technology Center. Participants in each workshop receive a training manual, computer disks with examples and a certificate of completion.

Non-credit courses are taught by professionals within their areas of expertise but generally the instructors are not faculty from Bridgewater State College. BSC offers the Technology Training courses for professional development and as a community service. The courses are not included in any degree program of BSC, nor can they be considered as a pre-requisite for any degree programs.

We would be happy to assist you with your technology training needs and design a technology training series that will best fit the needs of your organization. Please contact Jenna Stephenson at 508.531.2725 or externalprograms@bridgew.edu to discuss in detail how we can assist you.
