Diplomas & Transcripts
Transcripts that certify degree completion will be available only after all grades have been submitted by faculty for the semester, and all graduation candidates have been reviewed as part of the final graduation clearance process. This process may take up to one month to complete beyond the end of the semester. If you will need an official transcript, please complete and sign a Transcript Request Form and send it to the Registrar's Office, as outlined at: http://www.bridgew.edu/Registrar/Transcript.cfm?Records=.
Diplomas will be produced after the final graduation clearance process has been completed for all graduation candidates. Once ready, diplomas will be mailed to your mailing address as listed on your Application to Graduate Form. It is also important if your address has changed that you fill out a BSU ADDRESS AND TELEPHONE NUMBER CHANGE FORM from the Registrar's Office in order to receive your diploma. Please make sure your address information is correct before you graduate from BSU!
Details regarding when transcripts and diplomas will be ready are posted on the BSU website each semester at http://www.bridgew.edu/Registrar.
NOTE: If you have an outstanding financial obligation with BSU, neither the transcript nor the diploma will be released. Once you have cleared all outstanding debts, please contact the graduation coordinator in the College of Graduate Studies to notify us so your diploma may be mailed to you. If transcripts are needed, a new Transcript Request Form must be submitted at this time to the Registrar's Office, as these are not retained in the College of Graduate Studies for students with holds.
