General Information - Master's/CAG'S Degree Ceremony
Bridgewater State University is pleased to welcome visitors with tickets to the campus for the Master’s/CAG’s Degree Ceremony on Wednesday, May 15, 2013. The ceremony will begin at 7:30PM.
Bridgewater State University is located in Bridgewater, Massachusetts, and is in easy reach of major highways. The campus is approximately 40 minutes south of Boston, 30 minutes north of Cape Cod, and 50 minutes northeast of Providence, Rhode Island, and is within a half mile of Bridgewater Center. The ceremony will take place in the Rondileau Campus Center Auditorium, a 1433 seat, proscenium-style theatre, located at 19 Park Avenue. All guests must have tickets and be seated by 7:10pm to participate in the ceremony. However, it is expected that seating will be at maximum capacity for this event; doors will open at 6:30pm and guests are advised to arrive early for best seating.
Parking will be permitted at various lots on campus. The closest lot available for the ceremony is the West Campus Lot on Park Avenue, a short walking distance from the Auditorium. This lot is expected to fill up quickly, so visitors may also consider the Harrington Hall Lot on Grove Street, or other various parking lots as shown here. Shuttle busses will be available before and after the ceremony.
The ceremony is traditionally about 3 hours in length; guests are asked to stay for the entire ceremony. Following the ceremony, a reception will be held for graduates and their guests on the lower level of the Campus Center, in the Bear's Dean/Commuter Cafeteria.
