Graduation Central - Undergraduate

Diplomas & Transcripts

Transcripts that certify degree completion will be available only after all grades have been submitted by faculty for the semester, and all graduation candidates have been reviewed as part of the final graduation clearance process. This process may take up to one month to complete beyond the end of the semester.

If you will need an official transcript, please complete and sign a Transcript Request Form and send it to the Registrar's Office, as outlined at: http://www.bridgew.edu/Registrar/Transcript.cfm?Records=. By marking on the form, "Process after Degree Posted", the transcript request will be processed after degree information has been posted.

Diplomas are not given at the graduation ceremony, however they are produced after the final graduation clearance process has been completed for all graduation candidates. Once ready, you will have several weeks to pick up your diploma in the Registrar's Office, Boyden Hall, room 003. After that period of time, all remaining diplomas will be mailed to your mailing address on file in our database, or permanent address if a separate mailing address does not exist. Please make sure your address information is correct before you graduate from BSU. Address change forms are available at http://www.bridgew.edu/registrar by clicking on 'Forms'.

Details regarding when transcripts and diplomas will be ready are posted on the BSU website in February (winter), June (spring) and September (summer) at http://www.bridgew.edu.

NOTE: If you have an outstanding financial obligation with BSU, neither the transcript nor the diploma will be released. Once you have cleared all outstanding debts, please contact the Registrar's Office to notify them so your diploma may be mailed to you. If transcripts are needed, a new transcript request form must be submitted at this time, as these are not retained for students with holds.
