Disability Accommodations

For the BSU Graduate

Graduating students who will require accommodations in the graduation process must complete a Disability Request Form by January 2. A staff member from the Disability Resources Office will contact you to discuss the specific accommodation needed (e.g. interpreter services, wheelchair seating, etc.). Questions should be directed to Disability Resources 508.531.2194(TTY, 508.531.6113).

Graduates who require accommodations may be requested to meet with staff from Disability Resources and the Convocation Committee prior to commencement to review processional and seating arrangements.

For Guests and BSU Student Attendees

Guests and student attendees who are not graduating must complete a Disability Request Form by January 2. A staff member from Health Services will contact you to discuss the specific accommodation needed (e.g. handicap parking and transportation, interpreter services, wheelchair seating, etc.). Guests in need of accommodations require tickets, distributed to the graduate, for seating. Seating will also be available in the Rondileau Campus Center Ballroom for widescreen television viewing of the ceremony.

Note: The Rondileau Campus Center Auditorium balcony is not accessible by elevator. There are several steps to gain access to the balcony, so please take this into consideration when making arrangements for your guests.

Questions should be directed to the Office of Health Services at 508.531.1252(TTY, 508.531.6116).
