The Bridgewater State University Police Department provides law enforcement, emergency medical, and other services to the university community 24 hours a day 365 days a year. Police officers have full law enforcement authority throughout the property of the university and its environs. Emergency services can be obtained by calling 911 from any campus phone or by activating one of the blue light assistance phones at various locations on campus. Routine police services can be obtained by calling the department's main business line at 508.531.1212. Administrative matters are handled through the office of the Chief of Police, at 508-531-6140.
