International Student and Scholar Services (ISSS) is committed to providing high quality services and programs to international students and scholars. We assist with maintenance of immigration status, on and off-campus employment authorization, pre-arrival and re-entry information, and conduct various informational workshops. ISSS supports smooth transitions to the American way of life and education by organizing a specialized orientation for students and scholars each semester.

 

We also offer many different cultural programs and opportunities for engagement with the campus, the community and the region. Our mission is to enhance the educational experiences of our students and scholars and facilitate positive growth opportunities while continuing to evolve as a global community. ISSS currently serves international students from Albania, Angola, Argentina, Belize, Brazil, Bulgaria, Cameroon, Canada, Cape Verde, China, Germany, Ghana, Greece, Guinea, India, Ireland, Italy, Japan, Jordan, Kenya, Nepal, Nigeria, Poland, Russia, Sierra Leone, Slovak Republic, South Africa, South Korea, Turkey, Uganda, the United Kingdom, Venezuela, and Vietnam.

 

We are excited to announce that Global Village, a new Residential Learning Community (RLC) will be launched at Bridgewater State University in the Fall of 2013.
