The mission of the Intellectual Property Rights Advisory Board shall be to inform and guide the BSU community about copyright compliance and highlight the importance of intellectual property law in all functions at BSU.
The committee will oversee the formation and maintenance of a dedicated website, will sponsor discussion groups and informational sessions, and will engage in a campus-wide effort to highlight the importance of copyright compliance. The committee will also consider specific issues that require interpretation by the University. In addition, the committee will administer the Intellectual Property Policy for Sponsor-Supported Efforts of Faculty and Librarians (now in governance).
