Bridgewater State College will offer a ten-day Orff Schulwerk Institute for three undergraduate or three graduate credits. The course work follows guidelines established by AOSA (American Orff Schulwerk Association) for Level I and Level II certification. Course Prerequisites: If you are not a Bridgewater State College student, you must submit an official transcript proving that you have fulfilled the appropriate course prerequisite:
MUSC 458-F01 – prerequisite is Music Theory I or II or consent of Prof. Nagle.
MUSC 558-F01 – prerequisite is a bachelor’s degree in music or equivalent, or consent of Prof Nagle
MUSC 559-F01 – prerequisite is MUSC 558, Orff Schulwerk Teaching Training Level I

Masters Credits
MUSC558 and MUSC559 can be taken as part of required coursework for
Bridgewater State College's Master of Arts in Teaching.
