The Chamber Singers, the "singing ambassadors" of the university, are selected by audition from the larger University Chorale. Primarily an a cappella group, the Chamber Singers perform many concerts on and off campus and tours annually. Past performance venues in the region have included the Federal Reserve Bank of Boston Concert Series, the Saint Catherine of Siena Parish Concert Series, and the Police Memorial Celebration for the town of Rockland. Recent tours have taken the ensemble to Austria, Hungary, Slovakia, the Czech Republic, and Portugal. Their repertoire consists of music ranging from the Renaissance through the twentieth century. The Chamber Singers have been privileged to perform several world premieres of compositions by Bridgewater State University faculty.
