Dr. Carol A. Nicholeris is an Associate Professor of Music at Bridgewater State University. She holds a Bachelor of Music degree in Music Education from Boston University, a Master of Arts in Teaching in Creative Arts and a Certificate of Advanced Graduate Study in Education Administration from Bridgewater State University, and a Doctor of Musical Arts in Music Education from Boston University.

Dr. Nicholeris is certified as a public school music educator for grades K-12 and as a public school music administrator. She has taught music at all grade levels from K-college, and her education-research interests are focused in music curriculum philosophy and design developed in accordance with current brain research and studies in physics and meta-physics.

In addition to teaching, Dr. Nicholeris works as a choral conductor and has directed school, college, church, and community choruses. Presently, she is the Music Director of the Bridgewater State University Alumni Chamber Choir.

Carol Nicholeris is a recognized composer of choral music. Her works, which have been performed both locally and internationally, are published through E. C. Schirmer Music Publishers of Boston.
