Theater and dance at Bridgewater State University presents, as part of its annual BAM! Student Festival, "Much Ado About a Dream" and "Star Spangled Girl." A mashup of three of Shakespeare's romantic plays, the dreamlike world of the mischievous Puck is adapted by Micaela Kluver and Corey Cadigan, and is directed by Kluver. Performances are Friday, Feb. 28 at 8 p.m., and Saturday, March 1 at 2 p.m. Meanwhile, "Star Spangled Girl" is a political-romantic comedy about two best friends pitted against each other in a love triangle that spirals out of hand. Written by Neil Simon and directed by Danni Vitorino, performances will be held Saturday, March 1 at 8 p.m., and Sunday, March 2 at 2 p.m. All performances will be staged in the Rondileau Campus Center Auditorium. Tickets are $10 for students with ID, senior citizens, youth and military; $15 for the general public.
