"Peace Through Living a Life Committed to Diversity" is the topic of a free event that is open to the public on Friday, Sept. 20 from 5 to 8 p.m. on the quadrangle of Bridgewater State University's Boyden Hall. The occasion will include a barbecue, welcoming remarks by President Dana Mohler-Faria and Rev. Dr. Anita Farber-Robertson of First Parish Church. Dr. Sabrina Gentlewarrior, director of institutional diversity at BSU, will present a talk entitled "Creating a Life Committed to Diversity." A discussion among guests and creation of artwork that will be displayed at various locations in town and on the campus will be held. Organized by the Office of University and Community Partnerships, the Office of Institutional Diversity and the First Parish Unitarian Universalist Church of Bridgewater, those planning to attend should RSVP to firstname.lastname@example.org.
