A ‘Bridge’ to Success
News & Events
The ninth installment of The Bridge has captured 19 Gold Circle Awards, including second place in the Overall Design category.
The Columbia Scholastic Press Association each year honors collegiate publications. Bridgewater’s journal of literature and art has captured at least a handful of awards each year since its inception. The 19 awards for volume nine of The Bridge is the second-largest haul for the journal.
The Bridge competed against nearly 10,500 other publications, including those from Columbia, Ball State and Iowa State universities. First place awards went to Michael Malpiedi for his poem, “Pantoum for a Brother,” and Diane Sullivan for her essay, “Walking Through Water.”
