Members of the BSU community gathered on the quadrangle for a Remembrance, Reflection and Resolution event in honor of the victims of the Boston Marathon bombing.
Speaking at the event were President Dana Mohler-Faria; Louis Ricciardi,’81, chairman of the Board of Trustee; and SGA President Natasha Silva.
In his remarks, the president remembered those lost and wounded in the attack.
“This isn’t just a gathering, a remembrance, a reflection, this is a life change that could have happened to any one of us,” he said. “And for that, we must remember, we must keep in our hearts their pain and turn it into resolve. To resolve to love, to stand up and never let ourselves be intimidated, never let ourselves feel that evil will ever triumph over good.”
