The estate of a double graduate of Bridgewater, who enjoyed a long career in elementary education, has gifted $1.8 million to the BSU Foundation to support students majoring in teacher education.

Art professor’s work selected for biennial

Three of Professor Ivana George’s Sustain series cyanotypes were juried into the biennial at the Danforth Museum in Framingham, and earned an honorable mention in the Best of Show competition.

Every two years, Danforth Art celebrates contemporary photography through a highly selective exhibition of innovative photography by both established and emerging artists who live or work in New England. The New England Photography Biennial 2015 was juried by Susan Nalband, director of Boston’s 555 Gallery, and will be on view at Danforth Art from Sept. 9 to Dec. 6.
