Office of Regional Outreach

The Office of Regional Outreach (ORO) at Bridgewater State College is responsible for coordinating and networking the many individuals and units of the college with external constituencies. ORO also serves as a resource for the external community accessing college resources; works with faculty and staff of the college, external partners and contacts in the region to ensure coordination of information related to outreach efforts. The Office of Regional Outreach is responsible for planning and coordinating strategic initiatives of the college designed to improve or enhance relations with the external communities as it relates to the college's mission.

The ORO also includes the Institute for Regional Development (IRD) and the Office of Outreach to preK-12 Schools. The IRD serves arm of the division that facilitates community driven initiatives in applied research, public management training, and professional development related to the public, private and non-profit sectors.
