Director's Message

Welcome to our home on the web! The Office of Regional Outreach serves as a scout, conduit and catalyst to promote the long-term health of Southeastern Massachusetts through the development of reciprocal, sustainable relationships between Bridgewater State University and industrial, civic and educational organizations. In doing so we advance BSU's commitment to become a regional positive change agent and enhance the quality and prestige of a BSU education.

That's the official language. In everyday language, ORO is here to help our region be stronger. We look for ways to help the region's cities and towns thrive. Take a look for example at our efforts in the Entrepreneurship and our role as a convener for the Old Colony Crossroads Collaborative. We work with area chambers, and explore partnerships with regional businesses.

But it doesn't stop there. BSU's longstanding excellence in education is something we help to promote as well. We've included on our pages links out to several of the University's excellent programs in educational outreach.
