Jenny Shanahan oversees the Office of Undergraduate Research and the work it does to support and expand undergraduate research opportunities for students and faculty at the college. Reporting directly to the Associate Vice President for Academic Affairs, she works closely with the coordinators of the Adrian Tinsley Program and the Honors Program, advocating on their behalf in order to maintain and develop funding sources and institutional support for mentored research projects and creative works. She also works with faculty as well as entire departments interested in pursuing undergraduate research on a large or small scale.

Kathleen Frederick, Administrative Assistant I, oversees the day-to-day running of the OUR and the Adrian Tinsley Program.  She also assists both the OUR Director and the two faculty coordinators of the ATP in planning and executing programming for undergraduate research on campus. One of her most important duties is to assist students and faculty in the purchasing of equipment and materials and the arrangement of travel to events connected to undergraduate research. Stacy Moskos Nistendirk, Managing Editor of The Undergraduate Review, has been involved with the publication since 2005. She oversees the solicitation of submissions, layout/design, copyediting, and printing of the journal which is published annually.  She is also responsible for the development, design, and maintenance of The Office of Undergraduate Research's web content and press releases offered by the department. Stacy is an adjunct faculty member in the English Department at BSU. She teaches first and second year writing and First Year Seminar (FYS). Her ENGL 101/102 courses focus on the food industry in America and her seminars focus on war narratives and soldier memoir.
