
Letter grades and three hours of academic credit in AH 490 Art History Studies in Oxford, HI 490 Historical Studies in Oxford, EN 490 Literary Studies in Oxford, or PO 490 Political Science Studies in Oxford will be awarded by Bridgewater State College to every student who successfully completes his or her course. The student’s transcript will record both participation in the Bridgewater-at-Oxford Program and the title of the student’s class. Graduate credit may be earned, provided that the candidate demonstrates an appropriate level of preparation and, in the judgment of the tutor and the directors of the program, successfully completes advanced scholarly work connected with the student’s class. Students who wish to transfer their credits should make prior arrangements with the registrar or academic dean at their own institutions.

The program cost for the Summer 2010 trip is $4,950.00. The program includes room, partial board (seven breakfasts and dinner on Monday, Wednesday, and Fridays, all other meals are the responsibility of the student) , tuition, admission fees and group travel in Britain. Each student will have a comfortable private room and a shared bath or shower at Wadham. Excursions will generally be by chartered bus and may be subject to change due to unforeseen circumstances. A "group flight" round-trip from Boston will be designated by the program directors. Participants will be responsible for obtaining their own plane tickets. Faculty leaders will be traveling on the designated group flight.
*Shifts in currency exchange rates may necessitate a small adjustment in the program cost.
