General Information
When you arrive on campus plan to stop by any one of the Information Tables to pick up an updated schedule, get area restaurant information, and meet informed staff.  Information Tables will be conveniently located throughout campus. Refer to the schedule of events for specific locations. 

Parking Information and Campus Map
The campus parking restrictions are lifted during weekends beginning on Friday at 4 pm and ending Sunday at 6 pm. Parking will be permitted in all parking areas during this time. A shuttle bus servicing parking areas on both east and west campus will run after the Homecoming Parade from 12 - 4 pm. Shuttle stops will include locations closest to scheduled events including Swenson Field, East Campus Commons, School Street and Park Avenue. 
 NOTE:   Parking at the Swenson Field will be limited.  You may want to consider parking in either the Hooper Street lot or the Moakley lot.    Both lots are a short walk to the athletic field.

Sodexho Food Service welcomes BSU families and alumni! There will be a variety of dining options throughout the day including brunch specials in East Campus Common Dining Hall from 10:00 am-2:00 pm and a concession stand at Swenson Field during the football game. Families may also purchase meals at any of the campus food service areas during normal operating hours. On west campus, take your pick of: the Bear's Den, open 9 am - 1 pm and Flynn Dining Commons in Tillinghast Hall, open for dinner from 4-6:30 pm. Yes! "Guest Passes" can be used in all locations.

On east campus: Dunkin Donuts, located in the East Campus Commons (ECC) next to the bookstore, will be open from 7 am-6 pm. The ECC dining hall will serve brunch from 10 am-2:00 pm, and dinner from 4:30 -7 pm and Crimson Hall will be open for service beginning at 2 pm -  Midnight.  

Directions
Bridgewater State University is located in southeastern Massachusetts within easy reach of major highways. The campus is approximately 40 minutes south of Boston, 30 minutes north of Cape Cod, and 50 minutes northeast of Providence, Rhode Island. The link above provides directions from various locations.

Hotel Information
A complete list of area hotels and motels within approximately 20 miles of the university is available at the link above. Some area hotels offer a discounted rated for BSU community so be sure to ask when making your reservation. Reservations can be made by calling 508.822.8383.

Area Restaurants
There are a number of area restaurants for those who wish to have dinner locally with your BSU student. If you have a favorite restaurant in mind, we recommend making a reservation.
