Family Day/Homecoming |
| More than 200 families visited campus to spend the day with their BSC student during Family Day/Homecoming. The day began with a wonderful buffet breakfast hosted by President Mohler-Faria where faculty and staff served as breakfast hosts, including Provost Howard London and Dr. Dave Ostroth, Vice President for Student Affairs. Following the breakfast, there were an array of activities that appealed to the many interests and ages of our visitors. Families enjoyed events hosted by BSC students including the homecoming parade, Halloween crafts, Family Bingo, and a campus tour with an urban legend twist. Some families chose to engage in the arts by attending the show at the Anderson Art Gallery and/or the BSC Theatre production, Caberet. Sport enthusiasts had a number of sporting events to choose from, including the Homecoming Football Game, celebrating 50 years of BSC football . Many ended their day by attending the highly entertaining and enlightening lecture by Barry Drake on 60's Rock: When the Music Mattered. On behalf of the Family Day/Homecoming Committee, we were pleased so many families took part in the day and hope you enjoy the montage of photos below. Please mark your calendar's to join us next year on Saturday, October 16, 2010! |
