Great Hill Student Apartments Project

Renovations will begin in May 2009 on the Great Hill Student Apartments which are scheduled to be completed for Fall 2010. During the project, each block of the apartments will be closed for a period of time leaving two blocks occupied.  Students living in apartments 5-8 during the Fall 2009 semester will move into the newly renovated apartments 1-4 at the end of the fall semester. 

Planned renovations include making all rooms in each apartment a single room and the purchase of new furniture. Additionally, each apartment's kitchen and bathrooms will be remodeled, including installation of new kitchen appliances. Click here to see plans for the three different apartment configurations. 

Other project highlights include:

• The stairwells will be enclosed and heated. 
• New heating boilers will be installed along with two new emergency generators. 
• The fire safety system will be upgraded with the addition of a sprinklers and new detectors. 
• There will also be a three bedroom accessible apartment added to the number 4 entry.

Over the next few months this website will be updated periodically and will include pertinent information regarding the Apartments Construction Project. Check back occasionally for information regarding the updates.
