Examples of work orders that are not emergencies and should be processed through the work request system
  • Broken furniture

  • Limited power in room or suite (one outlet not working)

  • Light bulb needing replacement

  • Furniture alterations (bunking/debunking beds)

  • Need for exterminator

  • Broken towel rod in suite bathroom

  • Broken paper towel dispenser

Examples of work order emergencies include (but are not limited to):
  • Any lock issue (other than lock-out) where lock will not function

  • Any heat or air conditioning issue

  • Any plumbing issue

  • Any issue with an elevator

  • A broken window

  • No power in room

  • No power in suite or apartment

  • Door that will not close properly

  • During business hours (8:30am-4:00pm) please Call x1296 to report your problem

  • After hours, please find a Residence Life and Housing staff member (RA or RD) to report your problem

  • After hours, if you are unable to find a staff member, please call BSU Police Department at x1212
