The Boards of SGA:

SGA is made up of 5 boards. These act similarly to subcommittees and commit their time to various needs of the organization. Each board is run by one Executive Board Member and in all cases but the Executive board has at least 20% of the Senate membership as members. Each board with their responsibilities is listed below:

Policy Board:

Do you want to make real difference on SGA? Are you a big picture person? Do you like to make the big decisions? Do you love cake? If you answered yes to any of these questions than Policy Board is for you. On Policy Board we not only review new clubs for approval, we also assess the structure and procedure of the SGA itself, leaving YOUR mark for years to come. So if you’re not afraid to make those important decisions join Policy Board.

 

Finance Board:

Are you bored every Tuesday at 5? Do you understand the words fiscal responsibility? Do you like having one of the final words in if an event takes place? Is the only color you see green? If so, you belong in finance board. Finance board is more all about the money and you make a big difference in how we spend it. You are the first group to say yes or no to any budgets that come towards us. You can either be a person's best friend or the first one on their hit list. Either way you're bound to have a fun time on Finance Board!

 

Events Board:

Looking for a board, ladies and gents? Look no further, our board plans events. Plan. Do. Succeed. SGA Events Board 2010-2011. Stay Gorgeous Always!

 

Elections Board:

Do you like decorating? Or being a part of one of the most important events on campus? Do you care about being the voice of the students, and making a difference? Then join elections board! It is fun, easy, and only for the best! You'll pat yourself on the back for joining this board! And look on the bright side; you won't have to hang out with Jason!

 

Media Board:

Decorating, planning, reading, and counting money can be fun. But if you want to have an amazing time, join Media Board! We play with the typical college students’ best friends, Facebook and twitter, get people excited about SGA, and work with outside groups such as WBIM and The Comment to help promote a better …. US! What could be better!?!?!
