Sigma Pi Fraternity is an international fraternity that was founded in 1897 by four men at Vincennes University in Indiana. The chapter at Bridgewater State College received its National Charter in April of 1989.
Sigma Pi relies on the belief that man's goal is to form a better world and enrich his surroundings with the application of wisdom and knowledge gained through education. We strive to provide the maximum amount of opportunities for each member to grow in character and express individualism through academics, athletics, socials, community service and fund-raising events.
One of the fundamental objectives of the Eta-Eta Chapter of Sigma Pi is to develop the full character of each brother. The fraternity recognizes that within our society everyone is an individual with his own ideas to be developed, interests to be pursued, and goals to be achieved. Membership in Sigma Pi is a lifelong experience; from the first moments of pledging, a member of Sigma Pi holds and maintains a unique idea of brotherhood.
